The Militant Badger Gravel Grinder

Lube up a chammy and grind away 140 miles on the finest and not so finest rail trail southern Wisconsin has to offer, The Militant Badger is now a thing.  Details are still being worked out but here's what you can count on:

What to expect: The Militant Badger is a 140ish mile bicycle race/ride that is 80% crushed gravel 'rail trail', some paved bike path, and a few short road sections.  The ride is completely unsupported and the course generally traverses remote areas but there are small towns at convenient intervals.

The route:  The start/finish is currently set at the Wisconsin State Capitol building in Madison WI, but that is subject to change. This map lays out the general course, some small details may change but you get the general idea.
